Jere had to take 1/8” off each end of the fan extension to get it to fit right - may be different with the new radiator. I’ve always had the auxiliary electric fan in front of the radiator and it works well. I’ve been driving my stock 3 all summer with the pusher electric fan and stay at 185 even in town traffic in this heat and humidity.
Check the timing chain and front seal check steering pieces. Others will have other advice.
