Not saying you are wrong.  The workshop manual says 14gal US / 11.7gal UK.  We all know that the workshop manual is infallible 😊

Stock gas tanks are 12.9 gallons.

Subject: [TR] TR4 gas gauge

My gas gage read pretty empty; looking into the tank with a flashlight
confirmed that it was pretty empty. Obviously I don't have an exact amount
of what was left.  The float seemed like it was at the bottom of its arc.

I put 7 1/2 gallons in; it read 1/2 full.  Anyone want to comment on whether
its reading high, low, or pretty close?
