Whoops!  My mistake, somehow I thought Ron had a TR4.  Having had a plastic
line break while driving (on a non-Triumph) and spray scalding hot oil on my
leg while driving, I would absolutely replace the plastic line.

The braided line from TSi is an excellent suggestion.
