[TR] p700 lights with sidelight

Afternoon

So I had to replace the headlights for the TR3a and got a set of these.  As you can see in the image they have a "sidelight" wired in the bowl.

My question, has anyone installed these and any suggestion on wiring these sidelights?  I am thinking might be nice ( not very bright I suspect ) like daytime running lights that will be on when the head lights are off and then switch off when they turned on.
