Ah yes - Sort of a "don't ask, don't tell" situation. I have seen farm
equipment with similar types of repairs. There is just no explanation.

I won't mention what car it is, as the person who sold it to me may be on
the list.......

 

I have seen a lot, but this one is particularly ingenious:  a hole in a sill
repaired by inserting 4 "Brillo" pads and then covering in filler.  Oh, if
these cars could just talk !
