[TR] Converting TR6 rheostat to LED use

Hi List
 
1. I am converting the dash bulbs on my TR6 to LEDs. And I'd like to be able
to use the rheostat to adjust brightness. However I understand that the
existing dash light rheostat doesn't work well with LEDs.
 
2. Does anyone on the list know where to get a replacement rheostat suitable
for LEDs? Alternatively is there anyone who retrofits rheostats, or are
there instructions on how to make the conversion?
