[TR] Ignition light with an alternator

By the way, there is no need for the alternator - I just have one (a broken
one) in my car for show. If you connect the wires as shown, it should work
fine.

Sure there is! Connect the brown/blue, brown/white and large solid yellow
all together (in the pic I have them going to A, but it doesn't matter if it
is A or A1 or a combination). Then join the smaller yellow to the
yellow/green.

My TR3 is set up much like this too, only complaint is that the
charge/ignition light no longer functions. Of course, the ammeter is
working just fine, but is there a way to return this functionality?

Hmm, was I supposed to wait until Thanksgiving to answer?

Looks fine to me. You converted to negative ground, so the white wire
(power from the switch) goes to the positive terminal.

In my experience, the difference is mostly theoretical anyway. The engine
will run just fine with the spark polarity reversed.

I've had some moderate success with setting out saucers of chlorine laundry
bleach and closing the space up for a few days. Maybe change the chlorine
every day or two.
