Many TR6 owners use the 5/16" Motion Pro fuel shutoff valve (motorcycle part).
Same part works of TR2/3/4/5 as well.

I like the shut off valve idea, gas seems to be a little more prone to finding small gaps and seeping out than water or coolant mix. Wonder if on of those ball type valves would leak?.
