At the risk of sounding like a former president, it depends on your
definition of "compressible".  All materials, even steel, will get smaller
if enough pressure is applied.  That applies to brake fluid too.  The size
difference isn't much, but it is real.  The attached chart shows both DOT 5
and DOT 3/4.

PS, if you know anyone who has ever served on a submarine; ask them about
what happens to the walls of the sub when it submerges.  High alloy steel
several inches thick, but it gets noticeably smaller under pressure.
