[TR] One more TR4 chassis question

Andrew,
Congratulation on purchasing a new TR project. I'm fairly sure that I saw photos shared by the previous owner or seller.
It looked like an excellent candidate for restoration.
I'm sure that TR3 frames were modified for use on TR4s and not completely redesigned. The frame section with the holes fore and aft of the spring tower have been attached/welded to the TR3 main boxed frame section to widen the track on TR4s and the outrigger extensions are also simple additions to the TR3 design to accommodate the wider body.
I think later TR4 frames still had the front frame section added, but the body outriggers got longer tubes.
The TR4A frame was more specifically designed and very similar to the TR6 frame. The frame's main box sections are wider apart instead of the added extensions.
Good luck on the project. With that nice frame, you'll have a great start.

Sorry for bombing the list, but are these outriggers standard for what appears to be an early TR4 chassis ?

Thanks for any help.
