Hi John,
Did you replace the rubber diaphragms on the bottom? If these are sagging (or missing). This can make a big difference.

Finally driving my recently restored TR4A. Haven't driven a Triumph in 30 years, but don't remember the seats being so uncomfortable. Maybe my age? Seats were rebuilt with new foam and covers. The covers do seem a little loose to me, like there is room for more foam. I use a lumbar pillow, which helps some, but a 20 mi. drive feels more like 200. Any suggestions as to what can be done to improve the comfort of the original seats? Would prefer to stay with them.
