[TR] Water pumps.

I opted for the 5 bladed version 'cause it said heavy duty. At the same time
I had the radiator re-cored, swapped the fan out for the TR6 plastic
tropical fan, and installed a bellows thermostat. I also installed a new
electric pusher fan, but I have yet to have to use it, even on hot days in
traffic. So I don't know if the 5 bladed version is helping or not, but it
doesn't seem to be hurting.
Just a data point,
Bob

IMO, stock will do fine as long as you don't have some other cooling
problem.
I've fought lots of TR3 cooling problems, and never found that lack of
coolant flow was the issue. I've also tried "uprated" pumps when I was
having a problem and they didn't help at all. Now I run a stock pump (with
other cooling upgrades like an electric fan) and the engine stays cool even
when it's 115F. The driver overheats before the engine does!
