[TR] How often should I change oil in triumph that rarely does much mileage?

The problem with oil that sits in a car not being driven frequently is
that contaminants that would ordinarily be dissipated remain. It's not
anything that an hours' drive at highway speeds could not remedy. Oil
does not "go bad" otherwise if you simply drive your car for an hour
or so on a regular basis. This i heard from a former GM employee who
was in charge of oil for them and now owns a Corvette restoration
shop. Find a nice place to have lunch and hour away and make some
occasional visits.
