[TR] How often should I change oil in triumph that rarely does much mileage?

I drive about 600 - 800 miles a year if that. Most of the time its short
stop start  trips .

Based on the old rule of thumb where some would  say about 3000 miles
between oil changes, that would be 5 years.

Is this frequency OK?
Based on my records I keep, its been about 5 years since its last oil
change.
