[TR] Air Filters 1959 TR3A

Love the cactus!  Can’t wait to get the 3 back on the road to take a few drives.

 

I look at the home improvement stores to see if the sell those filter cover separately, might be the way to go.  No one has sent me any H&D baskets in quite a while.

The foam is sliced (and glued) from some Harry & David packing material.

 

It seems to work fine - does not have a noticeable effect on idle so I conclude it is not blocking a lot of air.

 

Dusty roads are a common occurrence in Arizona.  Did a drive thru Organ Pipe NM 2 weeks ago to see the spring wildflower bloom.

Sorry, no help on paper filters - what I use are the original ones (that can effectively stop anything larger than a BB) ensconced in foam koozies.
