[TR] TR3 fuel pump woes

I had a metal body facet pump years ago, it was as noisy or noisier than the plastic one, but maybe things have changed...
I somehow mounted the mechanical pump on my old 4a so that it was off the cam, but I actually hamfistedly bent the arm on that one so the cam wasn't hitting it. Doesn't sound like it is doing anythithing that drastic. Prime it?
