[TR] Torque Spec on bolts

I have the one that came with my 59 TR3A when I bought it in 1968 and it was
worn out then. The “dogs” were so rounded over it would not stay engaged. I
have no idea what the DPO did to cause that. As a result I have never used
it. I guess I have a crank-that-can-never-be-used. I just parked on a hill
when my starter died.

One here, although no longer an opening for it in the radiator.
I can report first hand that Dave Massey has (and uses) a hand crank on his
TR3!

I have two. One that stays in the spare wheel compartment along with the
jack-that-will-never-be-used and one that I keep in the garage for setting
points and valve timing. I have never used it to start the engine however.

I wonder what percentage of owners even own a handcrank!

I expect that it sized by anticipated load of using the hand crank while
starting rather than strength of the connection need to retain the snout.
