[TR] where to mount a fuel pump on a TR3?

My local British repair shop recommended a German pump.  Hardi pump.  https://www.hardi-automotive.com/en/products/pumps-1224v/
The model I bought is the right PSI, I think 3 lbs is what a TR3 with SUs needs, and you can mount it anywhere.  Back by the tank, engine compartment, etc.  And it's very quiet.

Electric fuel pumps should be mounted below the level of the tank so
that gravity helps things along.

There are pumps that can be retro-fitted to be in-tank. That helps
with the noise and cools the pump, just like modern cars.

While that one is a high pressure pump better suited to fuel
injection, there are lower pressure pumps suited to carburetors (or
pumps used with pressure regulators and return lines).

I can speak from experience that externally mounted electric pumps are noisy.

For those of you who have mounted an electric fuel pump on a TR3A, where
have you physically located the pump? I don't see a good location for one.

Thanks,
