Try this:

http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/Manufacturers

The 77 Electra is listed. You will need to know body style, engine type etc.

There are a number of on line valuation tools. I tried to take a quick look at Hagerty's valuation service, but they don't list an Electra in 1977. Are you sure you have the right year? You could try to sell it on Bring-a-trailor.com, you can set a reserve price and let the market determine the value.

I apologize in advance for asking this but I am trying to help my neighbor with a car problem.
His 94 year old mother owns a 1977 Buick Electra 225. The car is in mint condition, probably because she is not able to drive anymore but that isn't his problem.
He had asked me it I could give him any suggestions on how to sell the car or at least determine what it's worth. It's black on black with the fancy Buick chrome wheels. I think it has about 120K miles on it which isn't that bad for a car that old.
I have no idea where or how to find out what it's worth.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
PS it runs and drives but hasn't been started for awhile.
Thanks,
