[TR] Leaf spring bushings

Hey all ~

I'm installing new bushings in the front eye of my TR3 leaf springs.
Someone told me these bushibg were bonded to the eye at the factory. Is
this so? Do I need to apply adhesive to these before pressing them in or
can I just install them without it? Just curious. Getting the old bushes
and sleeves out was a piece of work. Sure felt like they were glued in!  :-
)
