[TR] Spitfire head gasket

Yes, I had decided that as well. Normally, I work on the car myself,
but I was having trouble getting the carbs adjusted. They informed the
valves were shot. Since they had the car, I told them to do the work.
They have a good rep in the area.

I was very unhappy last time. I did not find out that they were not
taking any responsibility until I picked up the car. And they
conveniently did not have the valves and seats that they replaced. I
could tell some other stories about the experience.

Any thoughts on the holes (it was number 4), could they have let the
antifreeze by?

Thanks,
Roger
