[TR] tr3a belt

So I have the original looking ( it was new ) belt, the thick solid belt installed on the '3.  I was watching a couple of generator to alternator videos and in one they replaced the stock type belt with one of these.

Has anyone done this?  I am not wanting to go whole hog and do the narrow belt replacement
