[TR] TR2/TR3 Brake Problem

Thanks to everyone who replied to my query on my TR3 brake problem.
I've been busy this week but finally got around to checking out the brake pedal free play at the master cylinder. This affects how far out the piston can be at rest. The gap, which was supposed to be 0.03 inches, was slightly more than that. I increased it anyway but haven't yet had a chance to do a test drive.
As the master cylinder rebuild kit includes a valve seat, valve cap and valve body (on brake side only), I suspect replacing these parts may improve the situation. That will be my next step.
For anyone interested, please find attached a drawing of the TR2/3 Lockheed Master Cylinder. The "valve" parts are circled in red.
Cheers,
Brian
