Sadly, l remove and reinstall my OD tranny several times a race season.
>From below by myself.  Right forearm pushes it up. Part of secret is a 3"
bolt eith head removed that is srewed into the top hole in the engine
block. This serves as a hanger and a giude for replcement. To ease the
process in a race car I have tapped the aluminum backing plate to hold 6 of
the mounting bolts. I also did this to the high torque starter motor. Can
do a r and r in two hours or less.
