what fun that we are talking about what i think is a great looking car. even if its woefully under-powered.
and then just last night i was catching up on some recorded TV. father brown episode on public TV here in los angeles.
onto set drives the most lovely red triumph 1800/2000. is seen at the start and end of the show.
i would most certainly love to own one.

Here's a nice looking '48 on eBay, seller says it was restored just five years ago. Will be interesting what it goes for if it makes reserve. I'm guessing about $30k.

To add to this discussion, this 49 Triumph 2000 Roadster was at the Auburn Indiana Fall Collector Car Auction this past weekend and was expected to sell for $45,000 to $50,000. I don’t know what it actually sold for however. It definitely was a pristine example. Just 1 of almost 900 cars at the event. May not help on the rarity question but helps give it a value.

This weekend I saw a 48 Triumph rumble seat roadster. The rumble seat had a windshield. Sadly someone tried to turn it into a street rod and changed out the engine.for a v six. There are other parts changed but basically all there. It is for sale in West Virginia, near Pipestem, if anyone is interested I took a few pictures. Is this a rare car?
