[TR] TR3 Temperature

i find my TR3 runs cooler on colder days.yes, about 20 degrees cooler.

Oh dear.  That raises another question.  On days when it's in the outside temperature is in the thirties driving to work, is it normal for the operating engine temperature to run as much as 20 degrees cooler?  It does run at 185 on "normal" days.

And apologies to the list.  I don't make it a practice to complain about vendors.  Only had the one experience with my gauges,and as has been mentioned, that has now been some long years ago.  'Nuff said.

That's where I run mine.  Practical Hints notes that "Under normal running, the temperature should not exceed 185F."

But I've sometimes wondered if that wasn't an example of British humor <g>
