[TR] Non-TR Head Gasket Question

 agree with Geo.. sounds like failing ignition coil to me.. or shorting dizzy cap or rotor..

The first thing I would check is whether there is good spark when the
re-start is attempted as it sure sounds like something is getting heated up
and failing and that suggests the ignition to me.
