[TR] Non-TR Head Gasket Question

Thank you, everyone, for responding.  Good idea.  Should have thought of that.  So what you're saying is that my guess might be correct that  there could be a crack or a failure in the gasket that could widen at operating temperature enough to take a strong running engine down to shutdown?
