[TR] TR6 Spring Packing - 2 or 3 Per?

Hello,
I am replacing the springs, front and rear, on my TR6 and will be using one
aluminum spacer with each spring.  Do I need to put a packing piece between
the spring and the spacer?  It appears that the spacer is machined with room
to do so.  In other words, do I need two packing pieces per corner or three?
I'm using the urethane packing pieces, but that should be immaterial to my
question I would think.
