out door carpet glue form home depot.comes in a quart plastic tub with green writingcant recall the exact name

worked great for me.plenty of layup time to move stuff around.
pulls off with some pressure later

Back in the UK I used a product from a company called Evostik.  You'd apply glue to both surfaces, wait until it becomes tacky and then join.
