I seem to recall that prior to the launch of the GT6 it was going to be called the Spitfire 6.
It also puzzles me why write to the US. There must be more choice here in UK and of course a LHD car would look out of place in a very British TV series.
I look forward to the new series of Endeavour just to see what they end up with.

The very early cars were called Spitfire 4 I believe, maybe something was lost in translation, or as noted, maybe they really want a Herald

Hmm, I wonder if the guy is just confused and he actually means that he wants a Herald convertible. After all, pre-`67 is getting pretty close to fifty years ago and the likelihood is that this guy was probably born after Triumph ceased to exist.
