[TR] voltage regulator

im not asking about voltage regulators on my tr3..they gont have one.im called to go look at a friendss mg midgetfrank

I am asking about how that black box, which I believe is the voltage 
regulator, but I'll go with control box, is mounted on the firewall in the 
engine compartment.  I have neither TR4 gauges nor a voltage stabilizer.
