I have had extremely good performance from my 123 distributor with a ACCEL
high performance coil on my TR4A.
Not sure what they cost now but back when I bought mine they were fairly
reasonable for a complete new distributor.  The rotor and cap can be purchased
at any FLAPS.
Having said that now I will probably have some kind of problem..
