This is kind of after the fact but I have had pretty good luck using a Delco 7127 alternator. They can be purchased just about anywhere for under $100.00 Can be wired very easily into the TR wiring Down side is that I did have to grind some off the mounting tab. Dave Connitt '67 TR4A IRS
