[TR] TR3 Bottom of Block Stamping

     I think I answered my own question: The middle main bearing cap has the
same number stamped on it. I guess that it was for identifying which bearing
caps went to which block during line boring.

     My 1960 TR3 block has a
stamping on the bottom of the block, the surface where the oil pan bolts to.
The stamp is A22. It says it on both sides of the surface. Just curious, does
anyone know what this was for or what it meant?
