Mine gives P codes - I believe they are fairly standard for OBDII.I just
google the P code, make, and model of the car and that usually gets me what I
need. MB

the cheep code readers tend only to give you the error code. an example would
be "G43".the problem you then face is finding out what a g43 is for your car.
not always easy.my son who is an ase mechanic is often going back to the
company's paid, on line service manual to get to what the code is.
