Thanks for all the suggestions, sounds like it is maybe not as bad to take the bottom cover to access the floats and valve with the carbs on as I thought, supposed to warm up this weekend, will delve in a little further, will also check the diaphragms because it is easy, but they are fairly new, so hopefully OK, but who knows.
