[TR] A type overdrive solenoid problem?

If wired normally, the gearbox switches only operate a relay which in turn
operates the solenoid. Do you hear the relay operate when you turn the switch
on and off? You could also try 2nd gear.

Yes, ignition on, shifter in 4th gear, OD selector switch on.
