[TR] TR3 Dash Vinyl Recovering - What's the best Glue to use????

I have been wondering about recovering my dash too.  The TR3B dash is covered
in some sort of sealed plastic, not vinyl like my '58 dash.  What it's the
best way to get this off?  Has anyone tried powder coating instead of the
vinyl/plastic?
