[TR] Testing ignition coil: what am I doing wrong????

The failed original stabilizer had burned through some of the fine wire wire
coil. I attributed it to excessive voltage, but it was 37 years old so it
could have been time to fail

I ended up making my own voltage stabilizer using an LM2940-10 and the
required supporting parts on a homemade PCB all fitting in the same case as
the original VS
