[TR] TR2/3 windshield mount Dzus

had my windshield on and off twice as has my friend Paul.
each time we both suffered the loss of the Dzus fastener. seems the replacements are of lesser than the originals.
i recommend you just push the fastener through the hole and and fasten it in place.
order 4 more for the glove box for next time you take it off.
throw the washers in the parts bin for miscellaneous use some place else.

Hello Listers:
Just installed the Dzus fasteners on the hood (engine cover) of the '2 and worked out well following the instruction sheet from TRF. Moved on to the windshield mount Dzus and they are different enough that felt I should ask first before I shoot my foot. There is only one Dzus washer on the fasteners for the windshield mounts. Do you 'expand' this washer once the Dzus fastener is pushed through? Use a socket or similar to 'flatten' this washer to secure the fastener?
Thanks for any advice from those who have been there.
