[TR] What do you use to clean greasy parts?

I used Crystal Simple Green in mine. I'm pleased with the results. It
doesn't work as well as the flammable alternatives from my time in the
shops. I placed the parts in the solution and let them soak for awhile. Time
can be a friend...:)

Just curious. Does anyone use a parts washer? If so, what cleaning solution
do you use in the parts washer?

turpentine.
don't know if its environmentally correct but it works

I just tore down my nasty greasy engine. I took the big parts with the
block to the machine shop and am getting those cleaned with the block.

I used to use gasoline to clean parts - but pretty sure that's not the way
to go today, With everything I have I think there would be a case of brake
cleaner or more to get the hardware, etc clean.

What are you using to clean parts?
