Try a dilute solution of vinegar to remove hard water stains. The alkaline salts are usually quite soluble in weak acids, although they cwn be surprisingly tough to get off otherwise. Shouldn't hurt anything else with quick exposure and then washing off. Don TR3B TSF202L
