Wow.  Wish we were there.  

Had to choose between the LOG and VTR this year and the closer/earlier convention won out.  I did my first full track day at Lotus Owners Gathering and that was interesting.  Did you know there is a full-scale copy of the Nurburgring Caracciola Karussell in West Virgina?  Drove it many times, since I didn't have to wait 14 miles for it to come up again.
