Alex,
I'd suggest downloading the free wire schematics from AAW. These are
considered to be the most accurate schematics available. You can find them
here: http://www.advanceautowire.com/tr2506.pdf
In looking at the one for a '76 TR6, there's 4 wires going to the
starter/solenoid: W/R from ignition switch, Brown from battery +, W/Y to
coil and W/O to seatbelt module.
