Oh absolutely!  All the HTTPS thing does is keep a third party from
monitoring what you enter on the web page.  It says nothing about what
happens to the information after it gets to the other end.

There have been some pretty major companies that have let credit card
information leak out.  It's not always even their fault, since the CC info
typically has to pass through several hands by the time it gets paid.
