[TR] Head Studs

All,

Is it possible/advisable to replace cylinder head studs with the head still in
place?
My idea is to replace the studs one at a time. (pull one out, replace it, move
to the next)

If I cannot, do I have to replace the head gasket if I take the head off?
I just rebuilt this engine, it has never been run; but I failed to check the
studs and want to go back and check them, replace if needed.
