I agree Bob.....tools are more than just purchases; they often become  
legacy items handed down to future generations and this overseas stuff  just 
doesn't make good hand-me-downs!  Ironically, I have the completely  opposite 
feeling for modern cars.  Since my experience with American cars  during the 
last 15 years hasn't been very rewarding and more expensive than it  should 
have been, it will be a long time (if ever) that I buy an American auto  
again but we're really getting off List topic so enough said on that  subject:)
