Yeah Jack,
You just get up at 6 am on the morning of the show like all us other  
diehards and clean your butt off till it's time for the judges breakfast then  after 
that's done you go back out to clean some more.  No problem as Ivan  Love once 
told me:  Every hour of driving equals two hours of cleaning. You  know we 
are all kind of slipping too, Huh?  I don't see Don Elliot out  there at the 
crack of dawn removing his grille on his TR3A just to clean the  bugs off his 
radiator gathered during the 1000 mile trip from Canada to the  NATC.  Black car 
too, what a bummer to prepare.  But you know he  always managed to do it.  His 
partner Bill Gray also with a Black TR3A was  always the first guy out.  I 
once proclaimed I would never be out cleaned  by anyone.  Those days are long 
gone for me, but it is my hope that some of  you will get into it. That's why we 
prepare to judge your Triumphs.
