Your comment about a mortgage is well taken.  I had mine done a year  ago or 
so, and a friend who is doing a 3A said that he just checked and the  price at 
the same shop is now competitive with buying a new (not Taiwan)  radiator.  I 
have no facts, other than mine was about $400 (no crank hole),  just a heads 
up.
